Amanda's MAT Portfolio

I chose to incorporate the Multicultural Lesson Plan that I created in EDUC 5173 as a part of my portfolio. I believe that my Multicultural Lesson Plan provides additional evidence of how I mastered the content in my course and for this proficiency. This assignment required me to create a detailed lesson plan that utilized all parts of the lesson cycle, while keeping the main focus on keeping it as multicultural as possible. This was excellent practice for me to experience what it is like to create a lesson plan that is very culturally sensitive to a diverse population in the classroom. In addition, I utilized all of the knowledge and skills that I gained throughout my time in EDUC 5173 to create an effective Multicultural Lesson Plan.
