Student Teaching Lesson
This is one of the many lessons that I created during my student teaching experience. This fulfills one of my self-selected portfolio items, and I chose to include it because of how successful I was at planning and implementing this lesson in the classroom. This lesson utilizes a variety of technology and media, which all of the students really enjoyed. When teaching, I am always nervous about striking a balance between the allotted time and planned content. The classes that I prepared lessons for were 85 minutes long, so I wanted to ensure that I had enough planned to last the entire class period. This lesson fit perfectly into the given timeframe, and I was very pleased with the outcome. This was even one of the lessons that my supervisor observed, and she really enjoyed it as well. This lesson does a great job of showing how well I have met Proficiency Two.
